"Carbon" is also a fancy way to say "plastic" ;). I think such custom developments for specific usage like the whole industrie makes it is a good thing. Even in highend cars you will find a similar material. Super light and extremely strong. The change within the Topeak-Ergon Team was a money thing. I heard some pretty unhappy racer voices regarding the change of their forks. But if you have to finance a whole wc-season for a team with all the travelling you are happy for every penny. And SRAM has plenty of that.

I cracked my clavicle into multiple pieces. It won't hold up without surgery. When they pulled all the metall out they told me to get back in into the old scar and only will cut it out a little bigger so it will heal better. I wasn't so amused after I pulled down the bandage and saw the second scar ;).

wärs möglich mir zu sagen wo die trails liegen wenn ihr schreibt "home" oder "local".
Weil ich komm auch aus Aschaffenburg und die trails auf euren Bildern sehn hamer aus, nur find ich so gute trails nie. Außer natürlich die sind secret dann is egal.

Na so fast... =) Hab einen grösseren Sprung massiv zu schnell im Nosedive übersprungen und dann beim Aufschlag im Flat einen hohen Preis dafür gezahlt.
